Time Signatures by Me - March 4th
I wrote a play last year, originally for the digital realm. It’s called Time Signatures. I’m workshopping it this week and sharing it at The Tank as part of the Moonlight Series. It’s about a suicide cult in an online chatroom. Still finding the words to explain this one. But I have an incredible team helping me to figure it out.
Featuring: Sam Carbery, Sydni Dichter (Kinderkrankenhaus), Kayla Juntilla (Kinderkrankenhaus), Jeese Koehler (Mercury Store), Cashel O’Malley, Leah Plante-Wiener, Austin Purnell (Mercury Store), Alex Ramirez, Nicholas Sanchez (wonderful_cringe), and Anike Sonuga (Sapphire).
With Dramaturgy from Eulalia Comas and Daniel Holzman.
This play would not have been possible without the friends, artists, and strangers who read this, gave feedback, and encouraged me to keep working. Thank you! If you can’t make the show but want to see the current draft. Let me know.
Choke by KJ Stewart - March 11th
Great news! Diving back into CHOKE by KJ Stewart!! About a competitive eating based reality tv show (choke), parasocial relationships, mindless consumption, and dreams going stale. We’re sharing this presentation with LPAC’s Rough Draft Festival! Hope to see you there. I love to direct!!
Untitled Miniature - March 18th - 25th
So excited to reconnect with Theater in Quarantine/Joshua William Gelb to stage manage Untitled Miniature at Here Arts! Josh is going to share a durational performance, naked in a tiny box, in this daring piece around exposure, proximity, and our digital lives. How is the body exploited as we share so much of ourselves? You can see this piece both in person and online. I feel like a magician's assistant :)
First Date - April 22nd and 26th
Script Dramaturging for Emma Callahan's First Date. Part of the Interrobang Festival at The Brick! A one person play around fluid identity and complex ancestral memory. Water... Circles... The worst possible situation... Also there’s a really fun movement section in the end.

Life Updates! You can’t get a ticket to these, but sharing here so you know what else is happening.
Three Sisters - Mercury Store Directing Lab
Last month I was in Chekhov land. I explored a concept that’s been on my mind for a long time. Three Sisters in a reality TV show context. Playing with the avenues of live video, melodramatic female troupes, and broadcasting everyday life. I recently had the opportunity to explore this concept in The Mercury Store Directing Lab. I have a lot more knowledge around this idea now. And also got to experiment with in-person live video as a director! Shoutout to my wonderful cohort; Olivia Facini, Diego Alejandro Gonzalez, Nico Krell, Keleen Moriarty, and Julia Sirna-Frest! Big thank-you to Daniel Aukin for mentoring me through this process.
If you’re an early career director interested in building your skills, apply to Directing Technique! Applications are open now. Apply by March 9th!
Major - Ogemdi Ude
For the past few months I’ve had the joy and privilege to stage manage Major, a dance theater piece by Ogemdi Ude. This project explores the history and physicality of majorette dance. Black femmes embody movements of girlhood to answer questions of the present. This piece touches on reconnection, companionship, and freedom in ways that are transcendent.

A Woman Among Women @ The Bushwick Starr
First, It’s been an honor to join the team of A Woman Among Women at The Bushwick Starr. A Woman Among Women, is part of playwright Julia May Jonas’ cycle of five ‘response plays’, adaptations of canonical 20th century plays from male writers. Julia not only gender swaps the roles, but also transmutes the message of the plays with a feminist voice, creating something completely new that works in conversation with the original text. A Woman Among Women is an adaptation of Arthur Miller’s, All My Sons. Fans of the traditional and downtown-experimental alike will appreciate this study of community, motherhood, and catharsis. I am on the production as Assistant Director to Sarah Hughes (sooo brilliant). Previews this week. We open on October 19th, with shows until early November. Come see this innovative piece, inaugurating the new home of The Bushwick Starr! I never thought I would direct in the round, but after working under Sarah I’ve learned to embrace the complications.
Princess Hamlet @ The Flea
Also, I got the chance to try my hand at costume design!!! Shoutout to Princess Hamlet at The Flea. The concept is so delightful. A genderbent version of Shakespeare's Hamlet, set in The Hamptons. Starring my friend and fierce actress Amanda Ng (giving Olivia Rodrigo x Gossip Girl). Cast of eight, I designed three looks for each actor. The show also has great stage combat, if you’re into that. There are two more performances of Princess Hamlet before the end of spooky season. Saturday, October 26th and November 2nd. Both at 10:30AM (morning theater? revolutionary. brunch and a show?!). Use PrincessH10 for $10 off tickets. Support young artists!
In other news, I’m a member of TAG now. :) It’s a relaxed group of writers/directors meeting up once a month with some support from The Tank. Thanks for including me. Feels cool to be in a club.

Relationships by Peter BD - June 9th
I’m acting for fun in Peter BD’s latest play, Relationships, at the Theater Under St. Marks. Reprising my cameo role of Maria from The Bus is Fcking Late Again, but this time I’m dead and it’s more dramatic.
CHOKE by KJ Stewart - June 17th
Directing a workshop of this awesome new play, CHOKE by KJ Stewart. About a competitive eating based reality tv show (choke), parasocial relationships, mindless consumption, and dreams going stale. KJ writes tragedy with a glitter pen. Makes you laugh or else you’d cry. Featuring: Erin Noll, Matt Barats, Keyana Hemphill, Zuzanna Szadkowski, and Gianna Milici. Produced by partner in crime Daniel Holzman, with Emma Richmond representing Trove. Trove forever!!
Pre-Existing Condition by Marin Ireland - Opens June 18th
Keep an eye out for Pre-Existing Condition by Marin Ireland at The Connelly. A thoughtful play about the aftermath of intimate partner violence. My first Assistant Directing role. Working under Maria Dizzia. Previews start June 10th, and opens on the 18th.
Lottie and the Deep Blue Sea - June 26th, 28th, and 29th.
GAY PIRATE MUSICAL!! Beth Gollison wrote the seafaring epic of the summer, probably of many summers. With Lottie and the Deep Blue Sea. A part of PRISM FEST, a series of new queer musicals produced by Makers Ensemble at Judson Church. I’m soo tone deaf but had the joy and honor of script dramaturg-ing this tale of bravery, love, and found family.
