Hey, my name is Noah. I am an interdisciplinary theater artist from Philadelphia. I graduated from NYU with a BFA in theater arts and an anthropology minor in 2022.
As a director I create with a practice of tenderness, humor, and circumstantial awareness that generates avant-garde yet intimate pieces of work. I write plays on occasion as well. I am a Stage Manager for the Mercury Store, where I manage weeklong workshops for new ideas. I'm also an actor and have performed with ensembles at The Kraine, H0l0, Grace Exhibition Space, Irondale, Chaos Computer, and The Brick. I work at a museum for posters.
I have a collaborative practice honed by a multitude of projects as a stage manager and producer. I believe in cultivating a space of mutual respect for each other and our shared time. I value planning, scheduling, and punctuality when leading a project. From my gallery upbringing and working in downtown theaters across New York, I am keenly aware of how space, whether that be exhibition room, theater, or the screen can influence the storytelling done within.
I direct theater out of love for people and the sacredness of gatherings. I direct theater because I enjoy doing it!
